Fire Extinguishers (FE)

  • ABC dry chemical is a multipurpose extinguishing agent that is suitable for use in offices, classrooms, churches, parking garages and retail. Not recommended for use on sensitive electronic equipment. These units contain specially fluidized and siliconized mono ammonium phosphate powder, which smothers and breaks the chain reaction on Class B fires, fuses and insulates Class A fires, and is a non-conductor of electricity. Non-toxic.

  • Standard BC dry chemical of siliconized sodium bicarbonate that is suitable for use on flammable liquid hazards in areas such as light manufacturing facilities, vehicle/aircraft/marine service centers, and retail stores. Cleanup is generally easy because the chemical does not normally back to a hot metal surface. Non-toxic.

  • The Water extinguisher uses ordinary water as it’s extinguishing agent, and can be pressurized with regular air, making recharging the extinguisher simple and economical. Pressurized Water Extinguishers for Class “A” Fires. The “water press” extinguisher contains water and compressed air. Units shipped empty.

  • This model contains the clean extinguishing agent Halotron® 1, which is EPA-approved, government accepted and specified. This agent discharges as a liquid, then quickly evaporates, leaving no residue to clean up afterwards. U.S. FAA-approved for use in airports. NFPA-10 rating. Electrically non-conductive.

  • These units are ideal for commercial restaurant applications as a portable supplement to pre-engineered suppression systems. A low “pH” potassium acetate solution is discharged in a fine mist that provides excellent range while preventing splashing and creating an effective saponification foam-type blanket necessary for suppressing liquid cooking media fires. The unique cooling properties deliver exceptional heat absorption ensuring the fire remains out.

  • Carbon dioxide is a trusted non-conductive clean agent that is more effective for dealing with electronic equipment fires. Typically used in offices, classrooms, retail and research facilities. Also available in an MR-conditional non-magnetic model for MRI rooms.
