Pour-In-Place

For Concrete Filled Steel Pan Stairs

  • Four-piece design; 2” non-conductive PVC isolator, replaceable anodized nosing, replaceable 1” Photo-Glo® strip and patented Construction Cover.

    Isolator clips on to the steel stair pan to hold the nosing in place as concrete is poured.

    Photo-Glo® – utilizes the same industrial grade solid polymer used in golf balls, imbedding photoluminescent pigment, the glow-in-the-dark material. This creates a durable material that is approximately 50% brighter than the code requires. Photo-Glo® comes with an industry leading 25-year warranty.

    Options:

    • Black, Grey, or Yellow Isolator color

    • Black or Yellow powder coated aluminum

    • Black or Yellow traction strip

    Photo-Glo is laminated to the anodized aluminum extrusion and meets IBC/IFC guidelines. UL 410, UL 1994 listed and exceeds ASTM E2072 and 2073 requirements. ANSI A137.1 Slip Testing – Wet. U.S. Patent #D621961, other patents pending.

    With proper design planning, the nosings are shop applied during the fabrication process. The construction cover protects the nosing during fabrication and building construction.

    Shop Applied stair nosings are for indoor or outdoor use.

Cast-In-Place

For Formed Concrete or Pre-Cast Treads

Perfect for cast-in-place, precast tread or floor and mid-level landings. 1” x 12’ strips. Photoluminescent strip comes with temporary protective cover. Install during the landing pour.
